Floorball drills for 12-14 years old

  1. Ball Control: Place cones in a line approximately 5 feet apart. Players will run down the line, stickhandling the ball around each cone and back again.
  2. Cross-floor Passing: Divide the team into two groups and have them line up at opposite defined spots. Players will pass the ball across the floor to their teammates and then run to the other end to receive a pass back.
  3. Breakout Drills: Divide the team into two groups and have one group line up along the boards at their own defined spot. The other group will line up in the neutral zone. The players along the boards will pass the ball to their teammates in the neutral zone, who will then run it into the offensive zone and take a shot on net.
  4. One-on-One Battle Drills: Set up two cones about 10 feet apart and have two players stand on opposite sides. The players will battle for the ball and try to score on the opposing net.
  5. Power  Drills: Set up a series of cones in a line and have players run through the cones, working on their speed and agility.
